WANATAH -- Ephraim J. Link, 79, of Wanatah, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Red Oak Nursing Home in Michigan City. He was born in Porter County April 6, 1891. On April 5, 1920, in Valparaiso, he married Julia Watts, who died in 1946. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert M. Howell, with whom he resided; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother, Charles Link of Elkhart. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wanatah Christian Church, with Rev. Gene Applegate, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westville Cemetery. Friends may call in the Peek Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday, when the body will be taken to the church.
