EVELYN R. KING, 88, of York, Neb., formerly of Evergreen, died March 25. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Fri., March 29, at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. King was born in Sterling on March 10, 1908. She married James M. King, 1929. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughter Adaire Toms of Nebraska; son Vaughn of Nebraska; brother William of Sterling; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.



Former Hastings resident Evelyn R. (Cobb) King, 88, of York died Monday, March 25, 1996, in York.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Metz Mortuary Chapel in York with the Rev. Harry Brown officiating.
Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver.
Mrs. King was born March 10, 1908, to William and Anna Marie (Walters) Cobb in Sterling, Colo.
On May 5, 1929, she married James M. King. He died in June 1991.
She was a 39-year resident of Hastings.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hastings and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors are one daughter, Adaire Toms of York: one son, Vaughn of McCook; one brother, William Cobb of Sterling, Colo.; nine granchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
