Mrs. Magdalena Meyer, nee Zinnen, widow of the late Jacob Meyer, died early last Tuesday morning, May 24, at her home in the town of Forest, death resulting from the infirmities of old age. She was born in Wilsecker, Rhine Province, Prussia, and was 82 years of age at the time of her death. After coming to the United States, the family resided in Kenosha, WI, and moved to the town of Forest about 40 years ago.

Deceased is survived by three daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. Nicolas Becker of the town of Bridgewater, Mrs. Charles Rademacher of New Market, Scott Co., and Miss Mary, who resides at home. The sons are Peter Meyer, Gladstone, MI, and Mathew E. and Nicolas who live on the old homestead.

The funeral was held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the church of St. Lawrence where a requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Karl. The remains will be interred in St. Lawrence Cemetery beside those of her late husband. Rice County Journal, Jun. 1, 1910
