She was born in July, 1825, in the Province of the Rhine, Prussia. She was married to Peter Siegler, who died in 1901, in her native town about 1852. They came to Wisconsin in 1858 and settled in Kenosha Co., where they resided until 1875, when they came to Minnesota and purchased the farm in the town of Bridgewater, where she has lived ever since.
She is survived by two children, John Siegler, and Mrs. Joseph Braun of this city. The remains were brought to this city and funeral services held at ten o'clock, at the St. Lawrence Church where Father Eishort celebrated a high mass of requiem. The remains were interred in St. Lawrence Cemetery, to which place they were followed by a large concourse of mourning relatives and neighbors. Rice County Journal, Jan. 5, 1905
