OBITUARY:
ASHBURNHAM - Blanche D. (LaFrenier) DeVeau, 83, of 15 Page Ave., a former woodworker, died yesterday morning in Birchwood Care Center, Fitchburg.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, Edwin A. DeVeau; three sons, Wayne A. DeVeau of Ashburnham, Albert Harding of Westminster and John P. Harding of Gardner; four daughters, Arlene Taylor of West Newfield, Maine, Ann Seymour of Ashby, Katherine Paulhus of Gardner and Yvonne Farrell of Lunenburg; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was born in Greenville, N.H., daughter of Edward and Georgiana (Thibault) LaFrenier, and lived more than 30 years in Westminster before moving here 14 years ago.
Mrs. DeVeau was a woodworker at F.W. Lombard Furniture Manufacturing Co. and at Whitney Furniture Co. for several years.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Denis Church, 85 Main St. Burial will be in New Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.
