OBITUARY:

Albert E. LaFrenier

SOUTH ASHBURNHAM, Oct 3 - Albert E. LaFrenier, 33, of Center Street, died this morning at the sanitorium in West Boyleston following a long illness. He was born in Greenville, NH, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward LaFrenier, he had been a resident of South Ashburnham for 25 years.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Rose (Gammell) LaFrenier, his parents Mr. and Mrs. LaFreniere of South Ashburnham, a brother, Raymond LaFrenier; five sisters, Mrs. John Moore of Fitchburg, Miss Edna LaFrenier of Westfield, Mrs. William Page, Mrs. Loring Harding, and Miss Rita LaFrenier all of South Ashburnham and his grandparents, Mr and Mrs John Thibeault of Greenville, NH.

The funeral will be held from the home of his parents on Center Street, followed by a high mass of requiem at St. Anne's Church at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon.

SOUTH ASHBURNHAM - Oct 5 - The funeral of Albert E. LaFreniere was held this morning at the home of his father, Edward LaFreniere followed by a high mass of requiem at St. Anne's Church, celebrated by Rev. Tom Mullahy. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon.

LaFrenier-Gammell

Miss. Rose Gammell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Gammell of Ashburnham and Albert LaFrenier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lafrenier of South Ashburnham, were married this morning at 9 o'clock in St. Denis Catholic Church, this village. The ceremony was performed by Rev. James F McCarthy, who used the double ring service. A nuptial mass followed. The maid of honor was Miss. Yvonne LaFreniere, and the bridesmaids were Miss. Beatrice Rosebury and Miss Pauline Taylor. Joseph Bergevin was the best man. The ushers were Leon LaPrise and Louis Daris.

The bride wore a white satin gown trimmed with lace, a tulle veil caught with orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of bride roses. The maid of honor was gowned in pink chiffon with a hat and slippers to match and carried pink roses. The bridesmaids work peach colored taffeta and chiffon, with hats to match and carried spring flowers.

The brides going away costume was a rose colored ensemble consisting of a georgette gown with velvet coat and hat to match.

Following the ceremony the couple went to Boy State Hall, South Ashburnham, where there was a reception of relatives and guests. Mr. and Mrs. left later for a short wedding trip.
