John T. Talley
Elder John Thomas Talley, 64, a minister of the Missionary Baptist Church died Monday.
A resident of the Brewster area for the past 12 years, he organized churches in Wenatchee and Brewster, and also was a pastor of East Omak.
He was born March 18, 1898, in Arkansas and married Margaret Pierce Sept. 3, 1953.
Surviving are his widow; his brothers, Jeff Talley, Broken Bow, Okla, George Talley, Portland, Ore., J. W. Talley, Twisp, Hal Talley, Arcadia, Calif., and Guy Talley, Lodi, Calif.; one sisters, Mrs. William Jones, Oroville, Calif.; and three step-children.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 pm from the Missionary Baptist Church of Brewster with Elder A. A. Harris and Elder Norval Ketchum officiating. Interment will be in the Bridgeport Cemetery. Arrangements by William Barnes of Brewster.
