Isaac is the son of Ignatious Nathan Gann and Susan (surname unknown) Gann, husband of Elizabeth Anna Clark.
Isaac and Annie (Clark) Gann, were natives of Tennessee, the father's birth occurring in 1782. Isaac Gann, during the Seminole War, enlisted as a soldier and with his company was engaged in service in the swamps of Florida.

Rank - Induction PRIVATE
In his native state he met and married Miss Clark and made his home there until 1834, when they removed to this state (Missouri) and for a short time resided in LaFayette County, a short distance from Greentown. Later they made their way to Davis Creek, in the same county, and in 1838 became identified with the residents of Buchanan County, their home being situated within one mile of Pottawatomie village. His new claim consisted of raw prairie land upon which he erected a log cabin and began the work of improvement and cultivation, being enabled before his death to place 35 acres under the plow. Isaac and Anna died within two months of each other.

This information is taken from a bio of their son Elbert Sevier Gann, Portrait and Biographical Record of Buchanan and Clinton Counties Missouri. There is a debate if Reuben is his middle name, I removed it for Bill Gann...you are welcome to decide for yourself.
This is a memorial headstone and am not sure why. I believe he is buried on his farm with Annie where they died in Buchanan county, Missouri.
He is my 4th g-grandfather
