MRS. SUSIE WALTERS
Mrs. Susie Walters, 93, of Oraville, died Feb, 19 in Cottage Hills after a long illness.
She was born Jan, 30, 1874, in Union county. She was married to Abner Walters, who died in 1952 (1 Sep 1951).
Mrs. Walters was a member of the Baptist Church.
She leaves daughters, Mrs Rosa Yearjan (Yearian) of Murphysboro, and Mrs. Stella Cripps, Mrs Inez Jatho and Mrs. Gladys Seibert, all of Believille (Belleville); step-daughter, Mrs Agnes Danhour of Chicago; sons, Roy of El Cajon, Calif., Fred of Hollywood, Calif., and Bill of Millstadt; step-sons, Everett of St. Louis, MO., Tom of Du Quoin, and Luther of California; 28 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren. and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Feb, 21 in the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel, Muryphysboro. Burial was in the Parrish Cemetery, Vergennes.
