I graduated from Arroyo High School in El Monte, Los Angeles Co., CA in 1962. I am divorced with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. I am a retired truck driver, having spent 15 years, in construction, as a Class A instructor, OTR, and lastly the dairy industry. I loved my job putting in long hours. It was hard work for a woman of my age. I got a late start at the age of 42 after I raised my family. I've always been interested in my ancestry but found it too difficult to track and record until I bought my first computer in 2000. I thought it would only be a few links to record but soon learned that it can get very involving taking you deeper into the their history and listing all the children each genertion had. I'm amazed how much information you can get from the Internet, especially when you can connect with other researchers researching the same line. I didn't realize how many people are interested in their ancestors.
