OKOLONA - Roosevelt Bowens, 41, died Thursday, June 7, at the V. A. Medical Center in Jackson. He was in the U.S. Army.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at Clark Chapel M. B. Church with Rev. White officiating. Westbrooks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors: his wife, Shirley Bowens of Okolona;two daughters,Shertia Bowens and Fontina Bowens of Okolona;two sons,Roosevelt Bowens, Jr., and Jason Bowens of Okolona; his parents,Tommy Lee Bowens,Sr.,and Jennie Kirk Bowens, two sisters,Chester Mae Bowens Stovall of Atlanta, Ga., and Virginia Irvin of Washington, D.
