Eliza (Mitchell) Erwin Lasher, 80, of Evergreen Nursing Home in High Point, North Carolina, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 1981 at the nursing home. Born Sept. 20, 1899 in Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Ross and Hannah (Medford) Mitchell. The former Ford City resident was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ford City. Her first husband, Lewis Clayton Erwin died Jun 7 1931. Her second husband, Boyd Lester Lasher died March 24, 1964. Surviving are a son, Robert Lee Erwin of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, William Mitchell of Ford City and four grandchildren. Lasher-Friends of Eliza (Mitchell) Erwin Lasher of High Point, N.C., formerly of Ford City, who died May 13, 1981, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wendell A. Welch Funeral Home, Ford City where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Lawnhaven Memorial Park, East Franklin Township. Arrangements by Welch.
