L May Dalton, daughter of the late Elias and Eliza Jane Wyant was born Dec. 8, 1874, and passed away on Oct. 7, 1948, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Roberts where she had lived for the past two years.

She was married to William Rausch in 1888. To this union were born two children, Clarence Henry who died in infancy, and Alma Louise who died in 1914.

The husband and father died in 189 She was again married on July 12, 1898, to James Henry Dalton who preceded her in death in 1918.

She is survived by two children: Reuben Dalton and Alice Dalton both of Farmington; seven grandchildren who are: Mrs. Emmett Vogel, Elmer Harrington, Ray Harrington, Reuben, Jr., Loretta, Al Morgan, Deloris Dalton; six great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Henry and Warren Dalton.

She was a member of the Joncas (?) Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 p.m. at the Cozean Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. R. Ray Stone.

Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery.
