Rural Resident Is Death Victim At PMH Sunday P.M.
Michael Fitzgerald, 76, residing on RFD 2, Valparaiso, died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday in Porter Memorial hospital.
The decedent was born in Baltimore, Md., Oct. 7, 1875, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Fitzgerald. He came to Valparaiso with his parents when a small child.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Godsil, Santa Cruz, Calif., Mrs. Albert Neff, Bay City, Mich., and Mrs. Andrew Gast, RFD 4, Valparaiso; and one brother, John Fitzgerald, of Lake Eliza, southwest of Valparaiso. His parents preceded him in death.
For many years Fitzgerald followed farming southwest of Valparaiso. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church.
The body is at the Dykes Funeral home, 55 Jefferson, pending completion of burial arrangements. Friends may call at 7 o'clock this evening.
The rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Dykes Funeral home in charge of Rev. Raymond G. Derrick.

Fitzgerald Rites Will Be Conducted Wednesday
Memorial services for Michael Fitzgerald, of RFD 2, Valparaiso, who died Sunday in Porter Memorial hospital, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dykes Funeral home, 55 Jefferson, and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic church. The Rev. Raymond G. Derrick will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 8:15 o'clock this evening at the funeral home.
