Long Illness Is Fatal To Lake Eliza Resident
Miss Catherine Fitzgerald, age 57 years, residing at Lake Eliza, southwest of the city, died Saturday evening at 9:30 o'clock after an extended illness.
She was born in Porter county on November 11, 1884, a daughter of Andrew Fitzgerald and Ellen (Murphy) Fitzgerald. She lived all her life in this county.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Neff, Indianapolis; Mrs. Mary Godsil, Santa Cruz, Cal., and Mrs. Nora Gast of Union township; and two brothers, Michael and John Fitzgerald of Union township; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Roman Catholic church, Rev. F. X. Guerre officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bartholomew chapel on Washington street from 7 o'clock this evening up until time of the services.
