WILSON -- Services for Louise "Mimi" Farrell Allred, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilson Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jim Duck and the Rev. Sid Bazzrea officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Born on Jan. 6, 1927, in Borger, Texas, to Hardin Devol Applebay and Mattie Cathren Frazier Ross, she died on Oct. 29, 2005, at her residence. She married John Brackenridge "J.B." Farrell III on May 30, 1945, in Yuma, Ariz. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her father, her mother on Feb. 8, 1991, and a grandson, J.B. Farrell, on Dec. 19, 2004. She married Montie Dean Allred on Feb. 12, 1992.

Louise grew up in Marietta, Ohio, and came to Oklahoma at the age of 17. After her arrival in Oklahoma she first was employed at Boyles Motor Freight in Healdton and then Cooper Dairy in Ardmore. While her children were growing up she served as den mother for the Cub Scouts. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star in Wilson and held many stations. When they had special guests she would write a poem about them, put music to the poem and then sing it to the guest.

Along with all of this Louise received her realtor's license in 1979 and worked as an agent for many years. At the same time Louise was employed in the offices of several area doctors including Dr. Cockrell, Dr. Kenaga and Dr. Meeks. After many years of serving her communities she retired in 1990.

Louise enjoyed being at the lake, gardening and working in her yard, but most of all the love and joy of her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Bazzrea and her husband, Sid, Wilson; three sons, Richard Farrell, Santa Maria, Calif., Johnny Farrell, Fort Collins, Colo. and Darrell Farrell and his wife, Jean, Wilson; stepchildren, Mark Allred, Muskegon, Mich., Mike, Duncan, and Mary, Healdton; two brothers, George W.
