Eleanor was the daughter of Carl Mauer and Catherine E. Werkmeister. She married Carl Wollesen on 25 January 1928 in Crawford Co, Iowa. They were the parents of Merlin Wollesen. She married 2nd Richard Ritzman.

Rev. H.W. Kramer officiated. Burial was in the Wall Lake Cemetery. Farber and Ottoman Funeral Home of Sac City were in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ritzman was born July 18, 1910, the daughter of Carl Mauer and Catherine Wermeister.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dale, and a daughter, Phyllis.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her mother, Mrs. Catherine Mauer; four sisters: Mrs. Mabel Brown of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Edna Gerdes, Sac City, Mrs. Robert Minnis, Fontana, Calif, and Mrs. Martin Lents, Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Martin Mauer of Sac City, and Kenneth Mauer of Storm Lake; one son, Merlin Wollesen; and three grandchildren.
