Cuono is my maternal great-grandfather. He came to the United States from Italy. He made several trips back and forth beginning when he was 21 bringing various family members with him, so that they could have a better life in America. Among the family members brought over were his sisters and his wife Anna and their children, one of them was my grandfather Anthony.
He died when my mother was 1.
