Lois Carder Collins, 90, of Richmond, originally from Louisa, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Collins, Sr. and brother, Warren Carder. She is survived by her son, Robert "Steve" Collins, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Joan; her sister, Hattie Crebbs; two grandsons, Robert "Steven" Collins III, and James "Brad" Collins. Mrs. Collins was a member of Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Bliley's Staples Mill. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 in Woodward Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Zane Grey Ross will conduct the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
