Jessie Estes, 79, died November 30, 1991, at Lee Manor Nursing Home in Tupelo after a long illness. She was a native of Tippah County and lived most of her life in Nettleton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nettleton Pentecostal Church. She was married to James Oscar Estes, who preceded her in death.
Services were in The Funeral Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. G. H. Hill officiating. Burial was in Lee Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen Ramage of Verona; two sons, Bobby Estes of Nettleton and Pete Estes of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Cook and Mrs. Scott Reynolds, both of Nettleton; one half brother, Ed Childers of Mobile, Alabama; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
