Lydia Jane Fowler was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, Jan. 16, 1852, and departed this life in St. Joseph's hospital, Centerville, Iowa, October 4, 1932, aged 80 years, 8 months and 18 days.
She was united in marriage to George Arnaman, March 29, 1867. To this union were born seven children, three of whom preceded her in death. Those living are: Mr. G.S. Arnaman of Unionville, Mo.; Mrs. Mary M. Bramball of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Dan Bramball of Unionville, Mo.; and Mrs. J.R. Brown of Joplin, Mo.
Mr. Arnaman passed away January 23, 1904.
Her second marriage was to Mr. Lewis Berry, who preceded her in death a few years ago. She made her decision for Christ in early life. She united with the United Brethren church and lived a consistent christian life.
When but a small girl she came with her parents to Putnam county, Mo., where she has since resided.
She leaves besides the children, one living brother, other relatives and many friends.
Services were held at the Baptist church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1932 by Rev. A.B. Baker. Interment in the Neeb cemetery.
