ADAMS, Darrell Age 71 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 4:30 AM. He was born in Hamilton on March 24, 1937 the son of Edgar and Blanche (Feltner) Adams. Darrell was employed as a press operator at Mosler Safe Company for 25 years, retiring in 1991; and during that time he worked for various law enforcement agencies, retiring in 1992 as chief of police for St. Clair Township. In 1992 in Tennessee, he married Barbara Pierson. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Adams of Hamilton; three children, Darrell (Nancy) Adams of New Miami, Tonja McKee of Millville, and Dennis (Angela) Adams of Fairfield Township; a stepson, Travis Morris of New Miami; four grandchildren, David Adams, Anndrea Adams, Lance Adams, and Hannah Adams; three great- grandchildren, Gabrielle, Carley, and Austin; two sisters, Carol Shoemaker of Eaton and Alice (Joe) Bowling of Indiana; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
