She was born on Cinclare Plantation and later moved to what is called, "Tombstone," Port Allen, Louisiana. She was a member of Israelite Baptist Church, Lukeville, LA, pastored by Rev. George C. Pierce.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters; Corinne Washington, Eola Dent Wilson, Fannie Parker Jones, and Mary Favors-Johnson; her sons; Reverend James Washington, George Parker, Sr., Sylvester Dorsey, Sr., Edward Favors, Alton Favors & Lutcher Miller, Jr. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elnora Seals, son, Grant Favors and grandson, Willie Springer.
