Edith Coryell Binkley, 97, of Harrisonburg, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community. Mrs. Binkley was born July 25, 1910, in Wayne County, Ind., and was the daughter of the late O. Demp and Effie May Coryell. She was a housewife and a member of the Massanutten Presbyterian Church. Prior to relocating to the Valley she resided in the Atlanta, Ga., area for 20 years to be near her family. Surviving are a daughter, Esther B. Good of Harrisonburg; a brother, Charles Coryell of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephew. Paul O'Gorek will conduct a memorial service 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Retirement Community's Meredith Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sunnyside Fellowship Fund, Sunnyside Communities Development Department, 600 University Blvd., Suite L, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
