McDonald and New Funeral Home Obituary

Emma Jane Peace Anness, age 86 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, June 21st, at her home. Born in Covington Kentucky on September 10, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Edna Peace. Emma was a retired employee of the American Standard Company. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers and one great grandchild.

Survivors include two sons: Richard J. Smith of Warsaw and Robert E. Smith of Brazil, IN.; three brothers: Jack and Richard Peace of Warsaw and Jim Peace of Union, Ky.; and one sister: Jeanie Scott of Warsaw. Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25th from 10am until 1pm, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 1pm with Bro. Kenny French officiating. Burial will be in the Napoleon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Groves, John Battaglia, Jason Lowe, Brayson Lowe, Chris Nordloh, and Joe Bamonte. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernie Williamson and Boyd Allen Smith.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass 208 Steele Street Frankfort, KY 40601.
