The funeral of Mr. Charles Brown of this place was held at the M. E. Church last Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Bing of St. Paul officiating. Mr. Brown departed this life on Sunday, July 11, after an illness of several weeks during which time he was a constant but patient sufferer. He will be remembered as an old resident of this state, having lived here for many years. He was 77 years of age and leaves a wife and eight grown children who will greatly miss him. His body was laid to rest in Spring Creek Cemetery.
