Mildred Vanderbilt Skotte, age 91 of Winchester, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008. She was born May 13, 1917, the daughter of the late Harry and Gladys Brown Vanderbilt. Mrs. Skotte enjoyed playing bridge and going to church. She was a United Methodist and a member of the Cowan Fellowship Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lars Aage Skotte, and daughter, Jill Skotte.
She is survived by her son, Lars Aage Skotte, Jr. of Cowan and daughter, Jean Arnold of Cape Cod: Brother, Leslie Vanderbilt of Cowan,, 5 Grandchidren, 4 Great Grandchildren and Special friend, Shirley Curtis.
Graveside services and burial will be held 10:00 Tuesday morning, July 8, 2008 at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery. Pastor Ken Ervin officiating.
