Mrs. Rosa Earnest, 82, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.D. Payne on North Ware Road. Mrs. Earnest was a native of Brownwood and had lived in the Valley for the past 28 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Irwin Wesley of Winter Park, Florida; a son, W.R. Earnest, of Kingsville, TX; a sister, Mrs. J.P. Holmes of Elmer, OK, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm. at Virgil Wilson Chapel with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery, in Mission. The Mission Chapter of Eastern Star will conduct graveside services.
