Dora May Hoschouer
Dora May Hoschouer, daughter of Jacob and Sarah Ann Kimmel, was born near Rossburg, Ohio, July 15, 1888. Passed away at her home in Ansonia, after a three months illness, on August 20, 1962, at the age of 74 years, 1 month, and 5 days.
She was united in marriage to A. J. Hoschouer June 16, 1907. To this union were born three children. They spent their entire lives in the Rossburg and Ansonia communities, moving from the farm to Ansonia 6 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Rossburg.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, and two daughters, Pauline Whitaker and Mabel Hall, both of Ansonia; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren; and eighteen step grandchildren; one sister, Maggie Schrader of Union City, Indiana; one brother, Isaac Kimmel of Eaton, Ohio, and many other relatives and friends.
A son, Ernest Hoschouer, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
