Maglen Schrader

UNION CITY--Maglen (Maggie) Schrader, 89, Crotinger Nursing Home, Union City, died 9 p.m. Monday at Union City Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for one day.

Mrs. Schrader was a Darke County native, the widow of the late Charles Schrader, Sr. She was a member of Rossburg Methodist Church since 1907.

Surviving are one son, Charles W. Schrader, Route 1, Rossburg; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh (Opal) Hurley, Route 1, Union City, Mrs. Ruby S. Bateman, Union City, and Mrs. Harold (Golda) Kochersperger, Logan; ten grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at the Rossburg United Methodist Church Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Michael Sims and James Wise officiating. Burial will follow in Beamsville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Oliver Funeral Home, Ansonia, Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until noon and after 1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Maglen (Maggie) Schrader, 89, Union City route 1, died Monday, April 29, 1941 at 9 p.m. at the Union City Memorial hospital where she had been a patient one day. She had been a resident of the Crotinger nursing home for five months.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rossburg United Methodist Church with the Revs. Michael Sims and James Wise officiating. Burial will be in the Beamsville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Oliver Funeral Home, Ansonia, O. from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, until noon Thursday and at the church one hour before the services.
