MRS VIRGINIA LEWIS, 46, Rockford, IL died at 8:30 am Friday at the Swedish American Hospital following an apparent Heart Attack. She was born in Russell County, Va and had lived in Kingsport. She had lived in Rockford the past 12 years
Survivors include her husband, Ira Lewis, two daughters, Mrs Shirley Mattson, Byran, IL and Miss Mary Lewis, Rockford, IL, a son Tommy Lewis. Rockford, IL 11 grandchildren, four brothers, Rufus Dingus, St Paul, Va John, Ralph and Walter Dingus, all of Kingsport; her mother Mrs Dora Dingus, Kingsport.
Funeral service was held at 3 pm Tuesday from Sabre's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Church Cemetery.
