Jean A. (McCollim) Croyle, 82, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at UPMC Presbyterian hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Ford City, daughter of the late Blair McCollim and Grace (Quinn) McCollim. She was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kittanning for more than 50 years and a member of Baptist Women Circle Groups. Jean always gave to her family first and will be sadly missed by all. She enjoyed attending family gatherings, flower gardening and making crafts. Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Floyd D. Croyle Sr.; two daughters, Beverly J. (Joseph) Clever, of Kittanning, and Janice (David) Benigni, of Freeport; son, Floyd D. (Pamela) Croyle, of Sarver; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Clever, of Wilmington, Del.; three grandsons, Joseph B. (Beth) Clever III, of Pittsburgh, David (Heather) Benigni, of Red Hill, and Jonathan Benigni, of Freeport; siblings, Hazel Guthrie, of Ford City, Kenneth McCollim, of Pittsburgh, and Judy Harriger, of Ford City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Schell; and grandson, Christopher Michael Clever. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Kittanning, with the Rev. A. David Meneely, church pastor, officiating.
