J. J. Johnston Dies; Native of Mesquite
Funeral services for J.J. Johnston, 58 of 3320 Oakland, who died Friday in a local hospital, were held Saturday in Mesquite. He was born and reared in Mesquite.
He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Miss Willie Johnston, Mrs. Ed Tyre, Miss Martha Johnston, Miss Beulah Johnston and Miss Juanita Johnston; two sons, Gordon Johnston and J.B. Johnston, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W.W. Fowler at Balch Bennett Cemetery.
