John Schell, president of the First National Bank of Rollingstone and prominent retired farmer, died last night after a lingering illness at the age of 69 years.
Mr. Schell, who was born in Luxembourg, came to the United States when he was only nine years old and settled at Rollingstone where he has lived ever since.
He is survived by his wife, and 6 children, Edwin and Raymond Schell, both of Minneiska; Mrs. Louis Speltz, Altura; Mrs. J. N. Deidrich, Des Mones; Mrs. Frank Speltz and Miss Jessie Schell, both of Rollingstone.
The funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Rollingstone, with the Rev. Anthony Hennekes officiating. Burial will be in Rollingstone cemetery.
