Mrs. M. P. Cain
Mrs. Helen Lawton Cain, wife of Marlin P. Cain, of 102 Ribaut Road, died Wednesday in a Savannah nursing home.
Funeral was Friday at 2 p.m. At Baptist Church of Beaufort, directed by Anderson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Cain was born in Charleston, Oct. 29, 1903. She was a graduate of Roper Hospital Nursing School in 1924. She retired in 1945. Six years prior to retirement, she was associated with Beaufort Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Beaufort.
Surviving are her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Squire of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Cathleen Talbert of New York; one brother, Charles Blitch of New York.
