Frank was a carpenter who worked for the E. P. Allis Co. (later called Allis-Chalmers Co.) of Milwaukee. He had seven sons and one daughter. Many of his descendants still live in the Milwaukee area.
From death notice in local German language newspaper, Todes Anzeigen, 9 Dec. 1913 (translated excerpts):
"...Frank Lohman on Sunday, the 7th December around 5:00 p.m., at the age of 56 years, 9 months, and 7 days ...died. The funeral is Wednesday the 10th December at 2:00 p.m. from the family residence No. 582 American Avenue to St. Martini's church...then to Pilgrim's Rest cemetery...Maria Lohman, nee Schmidt, wife..."
