Frederick Lohmann was the son of Herman Lohmann and Wilhelmine Sieks. He was a member of St. Martini's Lutheran Church. In 1900 he was single and living with his parents. He had a job as a server in sash & bore (woodworking industry). He died on Feb. 9, 1928, of lobar pneumonia. He was single and apparently not in close contact with his remaining relatives. With no one to claim his remains he was at first buried in the Milwaukee County Almshouse and Poor Farm on Feb. ll. His nephew Archie H. Lohman, who was an undertaker, learned of the mistake and claimed his uncle's remains. He had his uncle Fred disinterred Feb. 14 and on Feb. 16 Fred was reburied in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery next to his (Fred's) parents.
If he ever had his own gravestone it is now missing.
