Mattie married Barney Page Davis in 1904 in Erath TexasThey farmed in Stonewall Co. untill Barneys death in 1925, The family farm remained in the family untill 2005.
Mattie was the eighth child born to william Warren and Sarah Dugger Warren. The Warrens and the Davis Family, Barney Page Davis sr. b.1834 and Willam Warren b. 1835 lived only a few miles apart in Dade co Georgia sixty years latter thier childern married in Eastland co. Texas, as once again the familys were neighbors. Mattie and Barney had six childern.
