Born in Pike County, Arkansas and died at Aspermont, Stonewall County, Texas.Barney Page Davis was the fourth child of ten, that was born to Barney Page (sr) and Lucy Jane (Forester) Davis.Barney was a farmer and rancher in Eastland and Stonewall countys, Texas.Barney and Mattie Lee Warren Davis had six childern. Barney was a Mason and a Methodist.In Barneys early years he was horse trader and broker, selling horses to farmers ranches and stables. Barney was a well known horseman in north central Texas
One day in the 1890s Barney brought in a string of horses to the WARREN farm in Eastland county. A girl whos age was about sixteen, saw Barney ride up on a large buckskin horse. Tall and slim she turned to her sister and said "Im going to marry that man,one day", and so she did. In 1904 she at the age of 20 and he at the age of 40 wed, they had six childern, Bonnie Lee-1905, Vera Ilene-1906,Carlton Dawson-1908, Dalton Warren-1910, Bena Pauline-1912 Blake Page-1918 Barney died at the age of 61 of gan-grene after cutting out a spenter in his hand with his pocket knife.
