Clarence E Ray, Sr passed away in Madison County Hospital on December 13, 1992. Mr Ray, age 80 was born in Crockett, Texas as to Felix L and Lethia Pipkin Ray. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church; Masonic Lodge #554, AF & AM and Order of Eastern Star Chapter #157, all in Buffalo. Before retiring to his ranch in the Buffalo area, he had his own automotive business in Houston.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Priscilla Roy of Buffalo, daughter Jerry Hall of Colorado Springs, Colorado, step-daughter, Patricia Deiss of Huntsville; son Clarence Ray, Jr of White Oak; step-son John Weikel of Magnolia; sisters, Annie Mae King and Anne Smith, both of Whorton and Bobbie Pease of Dallas; brother, Neel Beene of Lancaster; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Ray were held in Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo on December 15, 1992 with Rev. James Vermillion officiating. Pallbearers were Mr. Ray's gransons, James Ray, Sean Ray, Curtis Hall, Stuart Hall, Charles Weikel and Alan Deiss. Graveside services were conducted by the Masonic Lodge #554 AF & AM of Buffalo at Union Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Memorial Home of Buffalo..
