Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie Lee Parker, 90, of Gilbert LA will be held at Jigger Apostolic Church on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Hurby Hitt, Rev. Virgil Harris and Bro. Joe Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery, Crowville, La under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Parker was born March 08, 1918 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away Thursday June 19, 2008 at Plantation Manor N.H. Winnsboro. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a Farmer, and a member of the Jigger Apostolic Church.
He was preceded in Death by: Wife-Minnie Lou Allen Parke; Father-Lonnie Parker; Mother Annie Hickingbottom Parker; 3 sons Huey Parker, Richard Parker and Kenneth Ralph Parker; and Daughter Deborah Lananne Parker.
Survivors include: Son Samuel and his wife Jacqueline Parker of Gilbert, LA, Son-Shelby and his wife Betty Parker of Gilbert, LA; Daughter Eunice Jones of Gilbert, LA, Daughter Carolyn and her husband Leroy Cureington of Bastrop, LA ,Daughter Juanita and her husband Earl Fowler of Gilbert, LA, Daughter Diane and her husband Johnny King of LaPlace, LA, Daughter Janice Storey of Winnsboro, LA; Brother Bill Parker and his family of Shreveport, LA, Brother John Parker and his family of Shreveport, LA; Sister Irene Jones and her family of Shreveport, LA, Sister Adelle Shivers and her family of Shreveport, LA.
