Geneva Jessie Dixon, 85, of Frankfort, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort.
Born in Edmonton, Ky., on Jan. 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Frona Compton Jessie.
She married Roy Turner Dixon on Sept. 3, 1949, in Louisville, Ky., and he died May 17, 1983.
Mrs. Dixon worked in the meat department at Standard Grocery for more than 20 years and before that worked for Phillip Morris Cigarette Co.
She was a member of Dayton Memorial Presbyterian Church. Her hobbies were reading and knitting.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
