Mrs. Anna Pearl Allen, 77 years old, passed away at her home in Wolf Creek, KY May 17, 1958. She was born in Meade Co. March 6, 1881. She was married to Mr. Joe Allen, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Artie l. Buckler and Mrs. Joetta Fritz; 4 sons, Charlie, Willett, Douglas and Bertram Allen; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. R.C. Davis, Owensboro; two brothers, Will and John Willett.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. May 19 at Wolf Creek Baptist Church of which she was a member, by Rev Lowell Cantrall. Burial was in Parr Cemetery, directed by Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were; Richard Hardesty, Bob Clark, Jerry Allen, Edward Allen, Edwin Allen, Carl Holman. (Meade Co. Messenger)
