Amanda Ann Snow was the daughter and first-born child of Richard Sullivan Snow and his first wife, Mary Partch. Amanda and her parents moved to Williams Co. Ohio in about 1851. Amanda Snow was married to Miles W. Higley in Williams Co. Ohio on Sept. 18, 1866. Sometime in 1881 Amanda, Miles and family moved from Williams Co. Ohio to near Conneautville (Crawford Co.) Pennsylvania, where they lived until 1894, when they moved to Meadville (Crawford Co.) Pennsylvania where two of their sons attended Allegheny College. Amanda Ann was the half-sister of my great-grandfather, Ernest Milton Snow. Amanda died as the result of Bright's Disease (Renal Nephritis).
