The son and only child of Richard Sullivan Snow and Rebecca Jane Pool, Ernest Milton Snow was for many years Town Marshall and Chief of Police of the village of Montpelier Ohio (he moved to Montpelier with his mother in 1890). Ernest Snow was a carpenter, house painter and interior decorator by trade for most of his adult life. Ernest Snow married Lucinda Belle Disbrow, daughter of Jacob and Susan (Crist) Disbrow, at Edon Ohio on Jan. 19, 1899.
