Roy Dennis Angel, son of David Hampton and Goldie (Sims) Angel was born September 18, 1923 in Clark County, Illinois. He passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning at Mary Sherman Hospital, Sullivan, Indiana, at the age of 59 years and four days.
He was united in marriage to Erma Lynn Evans, December 31, 1955 at Carlinville, Illinois. To this union were born three sons, Gary Lee, Mark Allen, and Don Evan, all living at home.
Dennis accepted the Lord as his Savior when a child and was member of the Bailiff Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife and sons; one brother, Fred Kenneth Angel, Princeton, Illinois; two sisters, Helma Rowena Newlin, Robinson, Illinois, and Gevena Edith Evans, Marshall, Illinois.
Preceding him in death are his parents David Hampton (May 8, 1947) and Goldie (March 27, 1975), two brothers, Chauncey Angel (Feb. 12, 1926 infancy) and James Clinton Angel (Feb. 11, 1982), and one sister, Wilma Doreen Nichols (Feb. 23, 1981).
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 24, 1982 at 2 p.m. at the Bailiff Church with Rev. Francis Howe officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Friends may call at Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel, West Union from 4 to 8:30 p.m. today and until noon Friday.
