Ms. Britton died Wednesday (June 11, 2008) in Palestine.
She was born Sept. 15, 1981, in Paris, Texas to William R. and Wanda Moore Britton.
She had lived in Palestine since 1986 and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Westwood High School in 2000. Sandy loved her family and spending time with her kids.Survivors include her parents, Ronnie and Wanda Britton; son, Jacob Connor, 5, and daughter, Kenna Jo, 3; brother, Roger Britton; sister, Cathy Orr; nieces and nephews, Andrew and Katie Britton and Caleb and Allyson Orr; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Pallbearers will be Andrew Britton, Russel Britton, Blake Callaham, Ryan Boger, Justin Cretsinger and "JP" Justin Penn.Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to the Sandy Britton Memorial Fund set up at Capital One Bank, 2121 S. Loop 256, Palestine, Tx. 75801.The family wishes to extend special thanks to Kelly Hughes and Jeff Cooper with the Palestine Fire Department, Station 2, Westside Volunteer Fire Department and Terry Bagley.
