Mona Pearl Foster, 96, Brandenburg, died Saturday May 30, 1998, at Todd Dickey Medical Center, Leavenworth, IN. She was born Feb. 15, 1902, the daughter of Charles E. and Susie P. Thacker Allen. Mrs Foster was a member of the Methodist Church at Wolf Creek.
She was preceded in death by 5 children, Frances, Irene, Dorothy, Wilmer, and Jody. Mrs Foster is survived by one daughter, Frieda Humphrey and one son, Ralph Frans, 32 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Melton jofficiating, Burial was in Parr-Frans Cemetery directed by Hager Funeral Home. (Meade Co. Messenger)
