Thompson, Jane E., age 83, of 5790 Denlinger Rd., passed away Tuesday at Friendship Village. She was a medical stenographer for the US Government at the VA and at WPAFB for 30 years. Survived by nieces, Mrs. Hazel Johns, West Carrollton, Mrs. Clinnard (Helen) Feierstein, Greenville, Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Miller of Puntagorda, Fla., Mrs. Edgar (Keitha) York, Port St. Lucie, Fla., Mrs. Ethel Delworth, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Emma West, Convoy, O., Mrs. Homer (Lavetis) Haines, Eldon, Iowa, Mrs. Charles (Marvel) Morris, Kingman, Ariz., Mrs. Theda Hathaway, Palm Springs, Calif., and Mrs. Kenneth (Luella) Rogers, San Jose, Calif.; a nephew, Ansil Gibbons, Greenville. A member of Central Christian Church, Port Greenville O.E.S. No. 406, Old Timers Club at the VA. Services 10 a.m., Friday, marker & Heller Funeral Home, 1706 N. Main St., Rev. Ted G. Faulconer officiating. Burial in Springhill cemetery at Ft. Recovery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 2-6 p.m. Thursday.
