Mr. James Douglas Allen, 69 years old. of Tell City, Ind., died Friday, Dec. 3, 1982, at VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY.
He was born Aug. 16,1913 in Meade Co. Ky the son of the late Joseph Warren Allen and Anna Pearl Willett Allen.
He is survived by one son, Jerome D. Allen,of the United States Air Force; 2 sisters Mrs. Joetta Fritz, and Mrs Artie Lee Buckler, both of Cannelton, IN. and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm Mon. Dec. 26, 1982 from the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy D. Marcum officiating. Internment was in the Parr Cemetery directed by Jenkins Funeral home. Pallbearers were Charlie Hubbard, Larry Rogier, Billy Ray Allen, Edward Allen, Lloyd Willett and Wilferd Willett.
